When a motion is sensitive enough to need a secret ballot, it is usually sensitive enough to be questioned later. Assembley makes secret ballots that hold up: members can verify their own ballot was counted, an outside auditor can verify the tally, and the code that links a ballot to a member is generated in the browser and never sent to us — so member privacy and a defensible result stop being a trade-off.
